Not sure I get this for the Lakers.
Sure they clear a lot of cap with this move, but they lose a great shot at winning a championship.
Chauncey/Peja/LeBron/JO/Kandi can't beat the Nets or Grizz IMO.

I think it makes a ton of sense for the Lakers. He gets rid of Shaq who is declining, near retirement, damn expensive and replaces him with a capable Kandi who can rebound and defend just about as good as Shaq. He also fills the void of Rip with Peja and in the mean time gets a very intriguing rookie who blocks shots and can possibly start or come off the bench giving the Lakers much needed depth.
It doesn't make any sense for the Jazz who doesn't have any shot at winning now and this also they lose cap space flexibility in the near future and depth immediately while also losing a future draft consideration.

I like this for the lakers, I dont think that kandi is too horible of downgrade in addition to shaq has not been the dominant player he has been in the past.

Whoa dude you kinda under cut me here... Mops started answering his PM lol Anyway, I didn't see the need to make a block for him when most of the league is trying to tank or can't take on his contract. Hopefully the up coming cap flexibility will allow me to set up the team to compete longer. I'd rather not take the chance of Shaq suddenly retiring and he's already falling off despite his beast ratings I think I will finally experiment with LeBron at PG with this move

I dunno Mike, I dunno about that.
Love this for the Lakers. Shaq is basically doing what he has done in real life. Declining, probably not able to carry a team by himself anymore, but still serviceable and with a heckuva big contract.

dumb trade for the Lakers..
shotblocking is probably one of the most important stats in FBB... Kandi can't block.
Look at my team virtually same as last year minus Camby and I can't win any games.
Pretty bad trade for both.
