Does it not seem kinda pointless to continue on with this after suggesting a restart? I mean it seems at least a good amount of guys are extremely interested in restarting and therefore their activity will probably be shit until we do so. I'm not putting forth my best effort while knowing that we could possibly restart at any minute. And for the record I don't want a restart. Not even sure if I'd even want to participate in one. I just don't think those threads should have been made. Sets a very bad tone for the league. I don't know how I feel about this shit anymore it sucks Ashes had to leave damn Here's your options.. 1. restart now, and rush shit, and have rosters/drafts that probably won't be very sexy. 2. Wait for 2 weeks when I'm off school, so I'll have time to edit the league file and get it looking good and running some tests with it. 3. I like the idea of drafts being from the 80's, but I really hope we don't actually have a full restart. I don't. Bad GMs need to be weeded out. The only way this will happen is through a full restart. I know some people love their rosters, but using fake players or retro drafts is just really really really lame imo. |

yeah, and maybe peoples minds change by then, I am making no guarantee of a restart at all. Or how about this...Set your team up the best you can, over the next few weeks, then, once we are set for a restart, we will finish up the season, then I will sim 5 seasons, the 5 teams who win a title will receive some form of bonus to kick off the new league

yeah but then people gonna try to deal 30 picks.. everything loses value.. teams with rebuild situations get fucked .. you can start the re-start now... start setting shit up.. have guys make input on every team (make like a thread for each team to get activity) and in the meantime you can sim.. it would 1. create hype for the new league without it starting yet.. 2. you can name a few gms you know will want for sure and therefore create competition for those vacant spots and you can see who really would be active by who is still showing up

I used to play in the old c4q leagues and was searching around and this is the only one I could find that is still around. I was pretty active in those and probably participated in more trades then anyone. I'd love to take a team if there are any open

I didn't want a restart originally, but once Marty made that topic it all went downhill. I've been here before. We can try and continue, but I'm telling you now, shit isn't gonna work.
