No one has given a legitimate reason as to why we shouldn't restart either... other than "I won't have time to start a new league" Exactly. Guys like Krupinski already stepped down because they aren't able to slack and do very little if we are going to start a new. The guys who do not want a restart are the guys that have had sporadic activity in this league i.e. Krupinski, ducky, Chipper, etc. I really don't see why Andrew is against this at all, it's going to happen eventually in every league even in BBS. lol its kinda funny that you brought up restarting after the "majority" wanted Broph to sim...You were fine simming the "current" league if you were voted commish. As for me...I'm not going to be apart of the restart...too many shit gm's for me. Good luck with the league broph and ill be around if you need any help. |

it's easy to blame me, because I always speak whatever is on my mind regardless of what people think but the fact of the matter is the transition from Ashes to Broph was handled quite poorly.
I really didn't care about not simming and clearly stated I would be willing to help Broph numerous times but I also had stated well before Ashes decide to call it quits, that I was thinking about stepping down at the end of the season.

clearly not.. considering broph had won the popularity.. I mean poll, as to who should run the league long before I created the thread. I created the thread after I read Spencer's post and his reasoning for starting a new which made sense to me at the time and still does. |

I feel similar to Marty. It has been a chore to try and make trades the last couple weeks. It just isnt fun when it doesnt seem like everyone is active. If things change Im definately down. Also, Im always in favor of a restart. Restarts always breed more activity and gives the enw simmer the chances to make the league their own. so go find another scapegoat as to why this league is a mess but don't be blaming me. |

I think it became a mess because of the uncertainty of what was going on. I dont think anyone is responsible.

ashes did this abruptly which is horrible... he had to have known he would not have enough time to sim.
He should have approached you or ducky, talked about the future of UOSLR, and like you said handled it behind the scenes and slowly but surely introduce Broph or whomever, into being the commish.
Right now a brand new league is the only thing that makes sense honestly, fix the who and what was wrong with UOSLR and make it better than it was

I think it was beyond that for him though. He was pushing his limits of free time to sim, knowing it wasnt enough. Thinking about his responsibilities and his schedule I think he just finally said "I cant do it anymore". I dont blame him at all, it wasnt even like it was a huge downtime.

Sad day for UOSLR, but a change was needed. Only a few of the gm's right now gave been associated with UOSLR for a while so a change is needed.
Hopefully guys like Andrew will stick around.0
