ya thats really strange. Im thinking Dallas took both though thinking one will turn out to be a solid playmaker for the team and the other can come off the bench. |

I love how chipper tells me via IM that he wants Grant Hill really badly and that's his #1 choice yet McDyess falls to him and that's his obvious #1. Yeah, I didn't see THAT one coming at all. Is this Skillz junior over here?
Why would McDyess even be thought of as a #1 pick? He's what he is a step down from Hill and Kidd and a top 3 pick.

If you're spending the 4th/5th pick on someone to bolster your bench, you either have a great team (which he obviously does not) or have alternate plans. Both of these guys can potentially play the 1, 2 or 3. |
