the best player in the draft...will become the kings starting pg for years to come...amazing ball handler, defender, and rebounder...triple double king.
2. Milwaukee Bucks - Grant Hill SF 6'8'' 225 21 B C B- B C A

the most versatile prospect the league has not seen in a long time...can score, pass, defend, and rebound...the future wing for the bucks...has a great chance for ROY.
3. Atlanta Hawks - Antonio McDyess PF 6'9'' 220 19 B C- C- B- B- A
After TC: B+ C- C B B+ A
the youngest prospect in the draft...rounds out the top 3...great inside scorer, rebounder...good defender...will become one of the top PF's in the future.
4. Dallas Mavericks - Brent Barry SG 6'6'' 185 22 C+ B B- C C A

great outside scorer...versatile...can play up to 3 positions...most likely will start at PG for dallas.
5. Dallas Mavericks - Jalen Rose SF 6'8'' 210 21 C+ C+ C+ B- C A

another versatile prospect...can score, handle, defend, and rebound...most likely will start at SF for dallas.
6. Chicago Bulls - J.R. Rider SG 6'5'' 215 23 B C+ C B- C B

one of the best inside scorers in the draft, second behind mcdyess...very athletic...will put on a show in chicago and fight for ROY.
7. Denver Nuggets - Donyell Marshall PF 6'9'' 218 21 C+ B C B- C+ B

a tweener...probably won't see much playing time this year...most likely will be third string for denver...will provide scoring and rebounding in the future when he fully develops.
8. Portland Trailblazers - Travis Best PG 5'11'' 182 21 C B+ B- C+ C- A

the second best pg in the draft...can score and handle the rock...will become a very good backup pg for portland.
9. Miami Heat - Brian Grant PF 6'9'' 254 22 B- C- C- B- C+ B

a hustle player...good defender and rebounder...can play the 4 or 5...will provide good big man depth for miami.
10. Los Angeles Lakers - Yinka Dare C 7'1'' 265 21 C+ D F+ B C+ A

the high risk player in the draft...turned out worth the dare...great size for a center...solid defender, but that's pretty much what he will bring.
11. Los Angeles Clippers - Charlie Ward PG 6'2'' 190 23 C B- C+ B+ C B

one of the most uoslr ready players in the draft...a good scorer and defender...will become a very good bench player and semi starter.
12. Utah Jazz - Kurt Thomas PF 6'9'' 230 21 C C+ C- B- B- B

see brian grant, except that thomas can score outside.
13. Cleveland Cavaliers - Lamond Murray SF 6'7'' 236 21 C+ B- D+ B C B

good defender...has the potential to become a nice scorer one day...will become a nice bench player for now.
14. Phoenix Suns - Clifford Rozier PF 6'11'' 245 21 C+ C- C- C+ A- C

the next charles oakley, but bigger...a solid rebounder...a nice big man to come off the bench.
15. Dallas Mavericks - Andrei Fetisov SF 6'10'' 220 22 B- C+ C C C+ B

nice inside scorer...can do a little bit of everything else but is very raw...probably won't see much playing time this year...still has potential to get better in the future.
16. Cleveland Cavaliers - Dontonio Wingfield PF 6'8'' 256 20 C B- C C B B

solid rebounder off the bench, but that's pretty much it.
17. Detroit Pistons - Tony Dumas SG 6'6'' 190 21 B B C C C C

the best balanced scorer in the draft...did not improve at all during training camp...will still come off the bench and provide scoring but that's it.
18. Denver Nuggets - Wesley Person SG 6'6'' 195 23 C B+ C C C B

very good outside shooter...will eventually become one of the best in the league someday...can handle the rock and create his own shots...a nice scoring punch off the bench.
19. Portland Trailblazers - Sharone Wright PF 6'11'' 260 21 B- D+ D+ B C+ B
After TC: B- D+ D B+ C+ B
solid defender...has potential to become a nice scorer and rebounder as well...a nice bench player for now.
20. Orlando Magic - Thomas Hamilton C 7'1'' 245 21 C B C+ C C+ B

an outside scoring big man who can do a little bit of everything else...could turn out a steal if he continues to get better.
21. Houston Rockets - Kris Bruton SF 6'7'' 218 23 C+ C- C B+ B- B

nice size for a wing...did horrible in training camp...defense and potential went down...most likely a wasted pick in this draft who won't see playing time this year.
22. Washington Bullets - Eric Piatkowski SG 6'7'' 215 23 C B+ C C+ C B

probably the best outside shooter in the draft...catch and shoot is his butter...will be a nice scoring punch off the bench for washington.
23. Portland Trailblazers - Johnny Tyson SF 6'5'' 185 21 B- C C- C+ C+ B

too short for a wing...did not improve in training camp...most likely will not see playing time this year.
24. Miami Heat - Aaron McKie SG 6'5'' 209 21 C C+ C B C+ B

has potential to become a nice defender...can do a little bit of everything else...versatile for his position.
25. Dallas Mavericks - Zeljko Rebraca C 7'0'' 257 22 C+ C D- B- C B

nice size for a center...decent defender.
26. Washington Bullets - Jevon Crudup SF 6'6'' 252 22 B+ D+ D C+ C C

a late steal in the draft...improved in training camp...a nice backup pg at best.
28. Miami Heat - Voshon Lenard SG 6'4'' 205 21 C A- C C C- B

a deadly outside scorer...probably the 2nd best behind brent barry in the draft...will become a nice role player for miami.
29. Orlando Magic - Khalid Reeves SG 6'3'' 207 21 C B C+ C+ C- B

a combo guard who still has room to get better...probably won't see much playing time this year.
