An early look at the 1995 UOSLR Draft....
* denotes that the players ratings are unknown. The ratings listed are completely fictional.
1. LA Clippers - Kevin Garnett PF 6'11'' 220 19 B- C C B+ B- A
The Clippers need 5 new starters. They are beyond a one year fix, and no one player will fix the problems they have. But, if you're gonna get the 1st pick in a draft, a draft with KG in it is the one to have. Garnett should be an All League type player within 3 years and the face of the Clipper franchise for the next decade.

2. Chicago Bulls - Rasheed Wallace PF 6'10'' 225 20 C+ C+ C- B+ C+ A
The Bulls only have 1 piece to build around in JR Rider so they can go in any number of directions. Because Rider seems to have the SG spot locked up, a player like Rasheed Wallace makes a ton of sense. he can play 3, 4 or 5 and he's an elite defender. The Bulls have a long road a head but with Rider and Wallace on board, and new management they should be headed in the right direction.

3. Milwaukee Bucks (from Los Angeles Lakers) - Glenn Robinson SF 6'7'' 225 21 B B- C- C+ C A
The Bucks have 2 high lotto picks and should add 2 great young players to an already impressive young duo in Grant Hill and PJ Brown. The Bucks need some scoring so here they go for probably the best scorer in the draft Glenn Robinson. the big dog is a very nice inside outside scorer but lacks big time defensive ability.
Peak Ratings... B+ B+ C B C+
4. Milwaukee Bucks - Jerry Stackhouse SG 6'6'' 218 B- C+ C B- C A
With their 2nd lotto pick the Bucks go with best player available. While they need a PG or a C they cant pass on Jerry Stackhouse. Stack is a supreme scorer and with grant Hill being so versatile everyone should fit in the SL. Bucks fans should be very excited about the future in Milwaukee.
Peak Ratings... B+ B C B+ C
5. Indiana Pacers (from Atlanta Hawks) - Joe Smith PF 6'10'' 225 19 C+ C C- B C+ A
The Pacers also have a nice young core with Stanley Roberts, Jamal Mashburn and Latrell Sprewell. They need a PG or another post scorer and get a solid double double guy in Joe Smith here. Smith should be a solid 3rd option and rebounder who could even become a very good defender and help Roberts defend the paint.
Peak Ratings... B+ C C A- B
6. Portland Trail Blazers - Juwan Howard PF 6'9'' 245 22 B C C B+ C+ B
Howard is a nice pick because he's not only a solid scorer, but he's versatile. Howard can play 3 or 4 and should be an 18-8 type player eventually. Add in young PG Travis Best and the Blazers have a nice young 1-2 punch.
Peak Ratings... B+ C C A- B-
7. Indiana Pacers - *Damon Stoudamire PG C B B- C+ C B
The Pacers have another lotto pick here, s they get to fill out their starting 5 with promising young PG Damon Stoudamire. Stoudamire is a good shooter and ball handler that could become a 15-8 type guy one day. Stoudamire and Smith is a great draft for the Pacers.
Peak Ratings... C B+ B+ B C
8. Miami Heat - *Theo Ratliff C C+ C- C- B+ C B
The Heat really need a big time franchise type, but they wont get that here. Instead they get a big time defensive player who will make everyone around him better in Theo Ratliff. Ratliff isn't a great defender or scorer, but he can block shots and defend with the best of them.
Peak Ratings... B- C C A C+
9. Sacramento Kings - *Gary Trent PF B C- C- C+ C+ B
The draft got real thin real quick which is not what the Kings were hoping for. instead of getting a wing running mate for Jason Kidd or a big time low post scorer they end up with a power player with less then ideal size. While Trent was nicknamed the "Shaq of the Mac" lots of scouts and GMs question how well Trents game will develop to the UOSLR. Trent is a nice scorer and should be a decent player worst case.
Peak Ratings... B+ C C B- B-
10. New Jersey Nets - *Bryant Reeves C B- C D+ C B- B
The Nets already have some nice pieces in place, but they really need another scorer. While Bryant Reeves isn't ideal, he can score. hes got a big body and some nice post moves. Reeves is also a solid rebounder. He wont be elite, but he should develop into a double double guy at C.
Peak Ratings... B C C- C+ B
11. Philadelphia 76ers - *Eric Snow PG C+ C B- B+ C B
The Sixers don't need a PG with Mugsy Bogues around but Eric Snow is the best player available and they cant pass on him. Snow isn't a good offensive player, but he's smart and he can D. A very good ball handler and decision maker, Snow is not a prototypical PG. He's a very aggressive defender and should become a solid pro.
Peak Ratings... B- C B+ A C
12. Portland Trail Blazers(from Utah Jazz) - *Alan Henderson PF C+ C C- B- B- C
Blazers get another big guy here in Alan Henderson. Henderson isn't especially impressive but he can score and board inside and he has nice size. ideally he's a 3rd or 4th big guy and if he's in your starting 5, you're probably headed for the lotto.
Peak Ratings... B- C C B B
13. Golden State Warriors - *Greg Ostertag C C+ D+ D+ B C+ C
Honestly everyone else in this draft sucks, and I'm quite sue someone will be better then Ostertag here but I just don't think we ever here enough about Greg Ostertag so i wanted to put him in here. He sucks. He is just a big fat white stiff and whenever I saw him at Oracle Id boo him just because he was so bad.
