I enjoy Statham movies as well - he was good in Death Race, who cares if that's his niche? Yeah, he's not the greatest actor but the man can sell a fight, regardless of how ridiculous.. You want ridiculous, watch Fast and Furious (which was still damn good if you ask me).
For the record, alot of the comedies everyone is bashing I think are GOLD (Zack and Miri, Tropic Thunder, etc.), so maybe I don't count.
On that note, I bet you guys don't think PowerThirst or Green Team is funny.

The workprint of Wolverine is absolutely hilarious. Finally got around to watching it with the wife tonight. TERRIBLE movie, but the "filler" special effects make it hilarious and watchable.
