100 Posts in a Season = 0-5 IT
200 posts in a Season = 1-5 IT
300 posts in a Season = 2-5 IT
Post totals will be tracked from sim 1 till before the start of sim 1 (the following season).
You will be able to use these points between the end of FA and before the first sim.
So how does this work?
GMs can select one player from their team to go into intensive training IT). I will use a random number generator to determine how much the rating will improve by. There is a small risk that the player might actually get worse in this category. The random number will be between 0 and plus 5. A player can only receive the intense training three times during their career. You can mix and match which category the player trains in during his career.
All attributes but potential can be used:
Inside Scoring
Ratings Affected: Inside Scoring
Mid Range Shooting
Ratings Affected: Outside Scoring
Long Range Shooting
Ratings Affected: Outside Scoring
Handling
Ratings Affected: Handling (note: this is the ability to lower turnovers)
Speed
Ratings Affected: Handling, Defense and Rebounding
Passing
Ratings Affected: Handling
Stealing
Ratings Affected: Defense
Blocking
Ratings Affected: Defense
Post Defense
Ratings Affected: Defense
Perimeter Defense
Ratings Affected: Defense
Drive Defense
Ratings Affected: Defense
Offensive Rebounding
Ratings Affected: Rebounding
Defensive Rebounding
Ratings Affected: Rebounding
Strength
Ratings Affected: Inside Scoring, Defense and Rebounding
Jumping
Ratings Affected: Inside Scoring (strangely, it doesn't affect Rebounding)
Example: The 76ers choose to enter Greg Oden into intensive mid-range shooting practice. He gets a random number of 4, so his mid-range shooting improves from, say, 54 to 58. The next season he is entered again, and draws a 3. He now has an outside shot of 61 (presuming the training camp didn't alter his rating in any other way). The following season, content with his shooting, the 76ers work on his strength. He draws a -1 and is now weaker than the year before. He can no longer receive any more training as he has received three sessions.
You will need to list a) the player and b) the training type in your usual Weights Room threads. I will make a list of all the players who have entered the training, so that nobody gets more than three chances to improve over their career.
No Age Limit.
BAM!, thanks to Willc and NBN.
