Considering they are 12-0 at home and have played 10 more games on the road then at home, I think you're ripping off the sonics big time. 7th in power rankings even though they have the best record in the league? I gave it a 4 just cuz of that. ZING! They play Grizz 3 times pretty s00n, so I guess we'll see who is right. So you gave me a 4 and your brother gave me a 3...way to put your bias aside Anyways this is the Power Rankings not the Standings. Unlike you I did my homework doing these rankings and it took me a great deal of time to compile. They got smashed by the Heat bballsim56.com/UOSLR/boxes/12-6.htmlThey got smashed by the Blazers bballsim56.com/UOSLR/boxes/26-10.htmlThey got smashed by the Bulls bballsim56.com/UOSLR/boxes/38-2.htmlThey are 1-1 against the T-Wolves. They haven't played the Grizzlies yet. They haven't exactly had a hard schedule yet this season. They've already played the Jazz 4 times! In the Eastern Conference matchups they've played Nets 2x, Magic, Pistons 2x, and Celtics all of whom are the bottom dwellers of the conference and the league. They lost to the Hornets. If you include the Jazz, Nets, Magic, Pistons, Celtics that has consisted of 35% of the Sonics schedule so far. All of the team mentioned for the exception of the Nets are 10+ games under .500 They are 21st in the league in rebounding and I can't even defend that by saying they don't allow many rebounds because they do! They are in a negative margin for the season. They allow teams to score at a high percentage and they foul at an alarming rate which means they can't stop shit. You do know they run an outside offense? So when they lose, expect them to lose because of poor shooting, which could result in an occasional blow out. Anyway to my brothers defense: bballsim56.com/UOSLR/boxes/57-4.htmlSUPERSONICS 105, Heat* 89 smashed the heat bballsim56.com/UOSLR/boxes/16-2.htmlsmashed the blazers SUPERSONICS 131, Trailblazers 99 bballsim56.com/UOSLR/boxes/55-3.htmlbeat minny SUPERSONICS 116, Timberwolves* 101 bballsim56.com/UOSLR/boxes/52-9.htmlbeat memphis They can compete, and in no way can you justify ranking them 7th. If you wanna put them 3rd or 4th, whatever go ahead, but putting them 7th is a joke.

In their win against the Grizz...the Grizz shot 55%
In their win against the Twolves they were out rebounded by an alarming rate.
You're acting like ranking them 7th is saying they suck. There are just better elite teams in the league. It's plain and simple. His record against the better teams in the league speaks for itself.
They aren't better than any of the teams ahead of them...can you really argue against that?

To be fair I did make these rankings before you beat the Grizzlies and they beat you prior. So you're all tied up at 1-1 and yes it is a coin flip. You're both awesome but....
I like Shaq and Robinson more tha Dream and Ewing
I also like Simmons and Mullin more than Houston and Rider.
Both Strickland and Kidd are ideal in their roles at PG so I don't see them being a swinging factor to favor one team over the other.

Sonics still have the best record, so yeah, I don't see why they should be ranked behind 6 teams who have a worse record than them. but idc, your opinion.

Juwan Howard has not played one game at C as of right now You did move his position there but haven't played him there so therefore it really hasn't panned out has it? I played him there as soon as he was moved there.

His strength of schedule is shit and the number of quality wins he has does not fall anywhere close to the 6 teams ahead of him. After this was published the Sonics got smacked around not once but twice by the Grizzlies.

I'm not gonna give em credit for that Heat win, they played them without Karl Malone, and we all know how good Malone is. nor did they smash the Grizzlies....3 points isn't a smashing. You probably should mention them beating up on the Timberwolves instead

The Sonics still need big man help. 4.1 bpg is bad. Their rpg would be a lot worse if barry and webster weren't such good rebounders for their positions.

Also they are 23-1 @ home. Pretty sure if they end up as a top seed, they'll have a good time in the playoffs.
