I feel bad for people looking to tank for the next 3 seasons bc we won't see any talent in drafts till lebron now. I'm very surprised all of these guys are in this draft.

The only guy not in this draft class who was in real life is Manu Ginobili and by the looks of it he'll be the #1 pick next year.

Yeah these guys aren't all for sure in this class. I think you've been here long enough to know that.

i still get a bit confused with the process. I'm more than happy to help with writing up some draft profiles. We didn't have a 99 draft board until today though so couldn't post anything.

I may scrap the individual profiles and just make detailed notes. Should have plenty of time to do notes tomorrow.

individual profiles are cool though. Gets the league pumped on whether or not a guy is going to declare. It raises speculation and strategy in the league and also give everyone the opportunity to have input on guys ratings etc.
Some guys throughout school may or may not improve their ratings and some could even drop off.
Also I should add its nice to reference back to as well. I know being new to the league before making deals I would go and check draft profiles and draft results as advanced scouting.

I liked them too, but it's harder and harder to do them myself since there are so many more players that require one. We'll see.

Ashes has said the players in the drafts will not necessarily be the same as their real life counterparts. Wade could enter the 2001 draft as a high school senior. Melo could go a year before. Darius Miles could become uoslr's version of Kobe.

With notes you get a glimpse at players who could go in the late lotto, end of first round, or the 2nd. With draft profiles unless you have a top 5 pick, they don't do anything for you.

Apparently Tmac likes Houston. I don't want him in the East so that would be fine with me....except for seeing Vince Carter and T-Mac on the same team....is there some kind of bonus for that.

Sorry guys, this whole internet issue is difficult. I'm at the pool right now (free Wi-Fi) so I can only sim and pull up a bunch of information on the guys I have left to finish for the file. What you see is essentially the meat of the class, that's for sure. Only big name missing is Ginobili, so you can look forward to him.
Sorry for this inconvenience guys, I'm doing my best with what I have. AT&T won't get out here until Saturday.
