I am a political science minor, so I have to be interested in it. Yea but nothing ever changes in politics no matter which party is in power. Things do change, but only if a party holds 2 of the 3 branches. Now with the democrats having the executive and the legislative branch, they are trying to push their agenda. When you have 2 parties each holding different branches (aka Bush and the democratic congress), nothing happens. And when nothing happens people blame the president because he is the central figure of government.

Whats sad is I am not even a republican. I don't agree with their stances on education. I have some conservative beliefs, but conservatism and republicanism are no longer the same.
