COMPLETELY FICTIONAL!
1- Charlotte - C Dikembe Mutombo C+ D+ D+ A- B- A
Charlotte needs everything. Their frontcourt is the strength of the team at this point with Tyrone Hill, Terry Cummings and Otis Thorpe but there is no star guard available so Mutombo seems to be the best choice. Mutombo is a finger waging force in the middle. Expect him to block 2-3 shots as a arookie and evetually grab 10-12 boards a game.
2-Cleveland - PF Larry Johnson B+ C+ C C+ B B
LJ is a stud inside scorer and rebounder that is probably more UOSLR ready then anyone in this draft. Although the Cavs have a great young PF in Shawn Kemp, Johnson is versatile enough to play SF too. Johnson and Kemp should be the best young forward combination in the league next year.
3-Denver - SG Steve Smith B- B C+ C+ C A
Smith is a very good scorer and ball handler that should be a nice #2 option in UOSLR. Denver has a nice center in Vlade Divac and a nice young point in Shrem Douglas so adding a wing scorer like Smith makes perfect sense. If Johnson doest win ROY Smith should.
4-Phoenix SF Billy Owens B C C+ B B- B
The Suns actually have some solid players, but just dont seem to fit together as a team. They have two young stars in Derrick Coleman and Hersey Hawkins, and they have a solid young PG in Mookie Blaylock but they could use an upgrade at SF. Billy Owens is a multi-talented player that can board, pass and score inside.
5-Miami PG Terrell Brandon C+ B- B+ C+ C B
The Heat need a PG pretty bad and their arent any better in this draft then Terrell Brandon. Brandon is a player that could near 20-10 within 5 years. Brandon will be a huge building block for the Heat.
6-Minnesota PG Kenny Anderson C C+ B B- C- A
The TWolves win more games with less talent then anyone. They deserve to end up in the top 3 with the roster they have. Best part about having no talent is that every spot is a need! Kenny Anderson seems like the logical fit. A solid passing PG with some ability to score, Anderson can be the face of the franchise until next lotto.
7-LA Lakers PF Dale Davis C+ D D B B+ B
The Lakers have 1 excellent player in Michael Adams. After that, it gets pretty thin pretty fast. A player like Dale Davis can defend down low and grab the defensive rebounds to fuel Adams one man fast break.
8-Charlotte (from Chicago) SF Stacey Augmon B- C C A- C- B
Elastic man is a great defender and should fit in perfectly with Dikembe Mutombo in Charlotte. Maybe one day the Hornets will get some scorers.
9-Dallas SF Bobby Phills C B+ C B+ C B
The Mavs are already pretty solid big and small, but they could use a SF. Phills is a perfect fit. Not only can he drain the 3 ball, he's also a pesky defender.
10-Milwaukee PF Bison Dele B C C- C C+ B
The Bucks have a dynamite backcourt but absolutely no front court to speak of. While Dele isn't a good defender or rebounder, he is a great scorer and should put up big numbers with the right amount of minutes.
11-Orlando PF Chris Gatling B- C- C- B- C+ B
The Magic are decent everywhere, but could also use an upgrade everywhere. Since they wont find that here, they look to add more depth. Chris Gatling is a solid big man that can score and board enough to be a solid UOSLRer.
12-Houston (from Buffalo) C Luc Longley C+ C C B B- C
Houston is a team that really needs some defense and rebounding up front. if they could add a solid center who could block shots and board they would have a shot at 45 wins. A player like Luc Longley isnt perfect, but he's close. A workman like center, Longley is good for 8 and 8 and good defense.
13-Charlotte (from Vancouver) PG Greg Anthony C B- C+ B+ C- B
Anthony isn't your prototypical PG, but he is decent at most things and good at defense. He might not be a pure point guard, but he has intangibles and he should start in the Hornets back court as a rookie.
