Warriors Get: Michael Olowokandi Chris Andersen Leon Smith Mavericks 2001 Second Mavericks 2002 First Bucks 2005 First Bucks 2006 First
Mavericks Get: Shareef Abdur-Rahim Damon Stoudamire Roberto Bergersen Lee Mayberry
I accept, didn't expect to deal Kandi so quickly, but I really like this for me. SAR is 2 years younger than Kandi and is on a awesome contract and a better player IMO. Bucks look like they are set for the future, so those firsts should be fine. Hoping to win this year, so hopefully my first isnt good.

Both Bucks picks are owed to me.

I agree
To me Kandi = Reef and Damon is well worth all of the cap space I get, three 1sts and two okay prospects.

Absolutely hate this for the Warriors. Mavs totally own here. Especially since they are getting Webber.

Especially if the Warriors whiff on any big FAs. If they get a big FA, then alright, this is pretty good. If not...

I view it as Damon for two firsts and cap, and Kandi Man and a first for Shareef not bad value at all.I think Kandi is better than Shareef, and GSW have a few PG's too many

Damon put up 16, 6, 10 last year. Worth more than two firsts that aren't projected to be that great and some cap. Kandi and SAR are pretty close. But SAR has the age and the contract over him. Kandi could have a good TC though.

With a core of Arenas and Wagner there was no long term need for either Childress or Mighty Mouse which he could dangle as trade bait for a big man. He could have done something smaller like Mighty Mouse for Kandi almost straight up. Arenas, Wagner, SAR, Swift, Kandi would have been damn good. Now its... Arenas, Childress, , Swift, Kandi with Chandler to the bench.

I like it for both sides. Mouse has always been underrated.

In no way was I saying that Damon is not worth that money, to the Warriors however, he really isn't worth that contract, as they have Gilbert Arenas and Randolph Childress.

I'm glad that people don't think I got destroyed on this trade.
Chipper made it seem like the Titanic just sank on AIM
SAR puts up great numbers on my lousy team - he is a solid, unspectacular player.
Looking at Kandi's TOPG, FG% and his consistent growth, I think that he will be better than SAR long term and more valuable.

Nice trading by the Mavs. Glad to see a new GM actually not getting it in the butt for once.
