Actually, that was part of the fun in it for me. Had to take risks.

Eh, Global's been dead since Corey and John left. I'm still in it, but it's not the same. Well they were the ones that made it so shitty. I couldn't stand their draft files either. No notes makes it extremely hard to draft since two guys could both be C B C B C A and one have 90 potential and the other 60. No draft notes is terrible.....

This is the first league I've been in with "draft notes" per se. Just saying...

I must admit though, and I'm not sucking up whatsoever, but I do think that with ashes not having a team, it makes him the best commish around, and the fact that he puts a lot into it.
N/h.

Thanks brah
I respect how long Global has been around, and they have their core over there, but I've heard terrible things about the commish(es). I can't place any truth to them because I've not been there, but I can say I'm not a fan of how things are run there just from a few times going through their forums. I like how UOSLR and BBS are run as opposed to Global. Just my preference.

After 3 real life years of doing Global, and like 7 of doing ABCA sims, they just decided it was time to call it quits. Some outer-core guys are running it (including me, except I don't sim or anything), but it's not nearly the same.

They each man teaches (I like it better how you and spencer do it) and of course it was suspicious when they drafted late picks who turned into studs. They also called out GMs regularly not because they were inacitve, but because they liked to bully people around. Having a simmer who is impartial is key. If you have simmers who know ratings, they will trade for guys who they know will turn into studs and give up little.

Global was the worst league I have ever been in. Something amazing happened whenever Moscow or NO drafted a late round player, they exploded in TC and became studs. +10 Global was horrible and the main guys used to cheat.

BBS shits on Global easily. Global is fucking horrible and has always been shitty. You suck, so I can understand you being a GM there. The only reason Ashes probably keeps you around here is your activity is pretty damn good but besides that you fucking suck. Don't try to talk shit about BBS when you couldn't survive there...faggot. Hopefully the contract year takes you out in a few seasons so we can get a good GM to run the Hawks....Once again you suck.

Here are some reasons (outside of the obvious, which has been established) for me not liking global: 1. The Pace. 10 day sims, 3 days a week isn't fast enough for me. I know it is a lot of work, but 7 day a week sims are great for activity since you have people posting all the time, not just 3 days a week. 2. The way DC are handled. This is more of a strike complaint as well. I understand the purpose, to keep up with activity, but it almost seems stupid. It is easier to make changes when you have an injury, or trade, or are trying to find right settings. I just don't want to be pressured to submit a dc every single sim. 3. The Draft. Having people right their own scouting reports is fine...if there are some draft notes to go along with them. If a big man has B+ defense, I have no idea what it could mean. Is it shot blocking? post defense? You don't even play this guessing game in the real nba draft since you have stats to back up the reports.
