Also, in looking at the Blazers...there really was one massive issue with them...>GARY PAYTON, with a C+ B- should not have been a starting SG...every starter on that team was shooting ok %....but Payton was shooting 36%....they needed a third option and they would have been fine. That is what I told him. I told Greens to go after a sg and sf who is cheaply (lots available), and try to contend with zo/kg/?/?/payton, which he would have done. |

but going after a SG or swing, would have costs me my first next year and after probably, at a chance that that works, and also there is no guarantee that Zo and KG re sign with me.

but going after a SG or swing, would have costs me my first next year and after probably, at a chance that that works, and also there is no guarantee that Zo and KG re sign with me. so you take a shot...the reason that team sucked is because the previous GM went inactive, its not like you were in desperation mode...you could have gotten your pick back for KG no problem at anypoint in the season....but you ship him off for crap right away..heck, you could have gotten better offers elsewhere, even if they didn't include your pick I would bet, but within a day, you blew the team to pieces, and didn't get great value outta one of the best players in the league, and one of the most valuable for sure, and had you looked you would have noticed that you do have a future pick not of your own to toss around...the Knicks 04 I believe it is. |

so what good does it do me to keep KG, trade away my next 2 firsts for a mediocre shooting guard, if shit dont work out, I then win 35 or so games and ends up my pick is in the 10-12 area, where I can dismantle the team now, get my pick back and be in the 3-6 area. ZBo + that player in the 3-6 area is worth Garnett, weather you guys want to admit it or not.

A guy who has taken over this team. I don't even think you had to make a big move...the lineup you came up with would have been fine Payton was literally killing your team playing SG, as your Defense, rebounding blocking stealing all were fine, but your FG% was terrible. At most you needed a SG, although a decent SG+Sf would have made your team hum beautifully. If you didn't notice, you are sitting just two games out of the playoffs, even with that record, it wouldn't have been that hard with your players to pick up two games, but instead you pulled a desperation Hail Mary......halfway through the season. There is no guarantee this is a deep draft, we have had a couple solid drafts in the last few years |

Except in the event he doesn't trade KG, then it too is terrible....so its a catch 22 if you put one and not the other through, its going to be terrible, if you put two through, its one god awful and one understandable, and if you put none through....well?

After seeing the KG deal, I have no problem with this. This looks muuuuuuuuuuuuch better lol, but then, trading a Ferrari for a bicycle looks better than that too.
