Wasn't this the same way Gmail started out? You could only get an account via an invite from someone who had an account. And you had like 5 invites each, so you just set up random accounts on Hotmail, Yahoo etc and just sent yourself invites, and get 5 more invites per new user? Then after it went mainstream they gave people 100 invites each lol. Now you don't need an invite and can just sign up. It'll be like that with Google Wave too sooner or later. Anywho, if anyone has a Google Wave account, hook me up please! I too have signed up but heard nothing so far. yeah its the same way gmail started... Anybody use google voice? |
