He had a bad game. I expect him to average around 13-14ppg this year.

Pacers fell to the hawks, way too many turnovers.
Had some bright spots though, I expect a 7 through 10 seed

lemme know when oden averages 20 Scoring isn't everything you know. Steve Nash won the MVP when only averaging 15ppg. Oden will be one of the main reasons the blazers will win the title withing the next couple years. If he averages 13-14ppg/10rpg/2+bpg in his career, THAT'S GREAT!

I think it's pretty funny that you think Oden is shit and Yao is so much better when have started off with similiar careers. Only difference is that Oden was 2 years younger in his rookie season

lol at your only argument being their rookie careers, which has NOTHING to do with what I just responded to
you said if oden averages 13/10/2+ a night that's great. sorry from a #1 pick, that is not great at all
Joel Pryzbilla can probably do that

Oden has no offensive game at all, he's got putbacks, other than that he's a turnover machine if the offense is actually initiated through him. he is miles behind Yao offensively, and always will be, who gives a flying fuck about rookie careers, oden has NO offensive game and never will
and I never seriously said oden was shit, he'll be a good defensive/rebounding big, but he will never be a superstar quality center, he will never be a dynamic player, and he will forever be a lesser player than Kevin Durant

Outlaw, Aldridge, Rudy, Roy, Martell etc.. Any other team and I think he'd progress to be a very good inside scorer, but just too much talent on the blazers. But I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up averaging near 20ppg down the road.

Oden has made major improvements over the summer and showed great moves in the preseason. Sure he had a bad game, but you're basing the rest of his career after 1 season and 1 game? HA Last year Oden was SHIT offensively, I know. But what do you expect from a guy who hadn't play a healthy season in 3 years? He still managed to get solid stats considering everything that was going against him

Preseason means nothing, this game and the rest of his career is what you have to base on, HA
He had who? Chuck Hayes behind him? How the fuck are you 7' 280 or however much he ways and you can't score on Chuck Hayes? Hayes is a good defender, but not 2 pts, 7 TOs good. That's Oden's own inability
Portland isn't going to find a smaller frontcourt in the league for Oden to "dominate" than the Houston Rockets without Yao. He failed miserably
And it's really hard to buy Portland's talent being the reason for his offensive deficiency when Dwight Howard does just on an arguably more talented offensive team in the Orlando Magic. You can tell when a player at least knows how to score when he catches the ball, and that player is not Greg Oden

You'll see, Oden will have plenty more 2-8pt, 10-12 reb, 2-5blk, 3-5 TO, 4-5 PF games for you to sink your teeth in
