I disagree with don's assessment of the talent coming into the league. I've never, ever ran a league where ratings get inflated, and I don't plan on it. Sorry to burst your bubbles lotto faithful, but shit isn't always what it seems! Last line is signed with love from Paul Pierce and Baron Davis. lol, so they really were busts...you bastard....oh, wait, preventing the Bucks from getting more talent=win.....not to mention I never got either of them....although if I had...........  no, in reality, this is a great setup, and the drafts have just enough uncertainty to make things interesting, no draft position is safe, Elton Brand+Carlos Boozer anybody? I just hope Dwight Howard isn't a bust, well, if I get him that is....and nothing seems to have come outta that Corey Maggette, Elton Brand pairing.... |

Nice to be mentioned as a top 5 GM in many peoples books. Also tiger, bibby IS very underrated. His ast-to ratio is amazing. And 20ppg is insane as a non option (or 3rd option).

He signed for 590k next season. He's committed to earning his keep in Milwaukee. I remember when people were gonna give up on Michael Finley too. BAM then he blew up. |

Yea I agree with Ducky its nice to be mentioned as one of the top GMs. I haven't been in a sim league with many of the GMs here for a while but it's nice to finally get recognized. I need to get more active in the league. I've been on auto pilot for a while now. This offseason could be crucial for me. Either way I want to keep my team in tact and really make a dynasty run. Thats the plan.

BTW, I'm surprised no one took Damon when Kobe was offering him around relatively cheaply. He offered him to me, but with Nash and Rip or whatever I had at the time (I think this was before I got Rip), I felt like taking a 2nd PG didn't really make sense for me. He's been awesome though. What is relatively cheap in your books? When I tried to go after him it was far from relatively cheap. My #9 is in csdude's inbox. I forgot to do it and he said for me to get it in really quick. I just hope Dwight Howard isn't a bust, well, if I get him that is I think it would be interesting if he is a B+ inside, B defense A rebounding type player. Very strong with a decent inside game, a beastly rebounder, but lacks defense. That would be interesting. |

But for every Paul Pierce or Baron that busted, you have Okafor who is a B inside, A- defense, A- rebounding big man as a rookie. I wouldn't mind if we had some weird rookies coming in, kinda like what you did with lebron and wade.
I am also a little bitter from taking Cisse and Kasun, both of which busted beautifully and left em stuck with long term, crappy contracts.
I guess if I had to add anything else about what I would say about the league, is that there is a lack of good PFs.

With regards to nobody making an offer for Mouse when he was shipped around for cheap, I did... but Kobe rightfully declined it. I mean, I thought he was really cheap so offered up a couple of firsts, Griffin and Max I think, simply because I thought he was real cheap. He wasn't though, and Kobe rightfully held onto him. When you have a player that good, you should keep him imo.
