so anybody enjoying their old version PS3's today? Damn at Sony, can't handle the transition from February to March? glad I currently run X-Box...... www.pcworld.com/article/190398/global_playstation_3_glitch_what_we_know_so_far.htmlluckily it will apparently all be solved at midnightish supposedly, Slims are unaffected, but the fat versions are unable to play a lot of games, specifically ones with trophy support, and it can corrupt saves and trophies earned Yeah that was brutal.. but it got fixed. Software glitch is easier to fix than hardware ie. Red Ring of Death.. I own both systems so i don't care Exactly, huge difference. If there's a network error or something, it'll just be a one time thing that'll be fixed fairly soon. The RRD on the other hand happens constantly and suxxxx |

in the new xbox's you have to play like 10 hours a day every to get the RROD which is the same with the PS3 and the yellow rings...

the same reason I never pay full price on videogames even when I get them on release day... I wait for deals.
I got Battlefield Bad company 2 today for $40 with trade-in credit and I'm getting a $20 GC from Amazon with Free Release date delivery.
I have over $200 in credit at gamestop.. I mean it's pretty stupid to pay full price for anything videogame related now adays.

Ehh.. i still think the xbox is crap for breaking down so easily compared to the ps3 breaking down. My 360 crapped out after only 1 month and my ps3 is still running great, and the yellow lights don't happen a lot compared to how many RRoDs there are. You have a 54% chance of your xbox RRoD compared to a 10% of your Ps3 turning into yellow lights. Though the nintendo wii hardly ever craps out so Wii for the win. |
