Just hope to god Smith doesn't walk in FA.
I wanted a frontcourt piece i can build around, and i think i get that in Smith.

I'm pretty high on Smith, so I like it for Magic. Brand is a good player though its just hard to see it since he was labeled as a bust for so long.

I agree.
I like to have a true dominant big in my offense. Brand should allow me to have that.
I like Smith, but it had gotten to the point where he was gonna be too much work to build up. His offensive game would need a lot of work since he shoots a horrible % and he isn't a break rebounder. His shotblocking will be missed.

More than likely he has great jumping and needs a lot of work on his inside game. Al Jeff shot at best 41% until this year....wasn't until I went to a very slow pace that he started improving
