Josh Howard
Damon Stoudamire
Cavs 2010 First
Cavs 2011 First
*Mavs Cut Gabe Pruitt and Taurean Green before deal.
I accept, Sjax is great but he is getting up there in age, he will be 31 next year and I don't want to risk not finding good value for him. Josh is a few years younger and is just as good at scoring as a first option and defensively. Just lose the PG skills. Lose this deal but w/e I like Josh. Hopefully he can get back up to 24 PPG or so like he was the past few years.

I get a major upgrade at PG, less to's and more steals and more dimes. I lose Josh, but i feel like it's a small price to pay for an upgrade of this caliber. I didn't expect to keep Damon past this season nor do i expect the firsts to be any good. Howard just wasn't performing this year no matter where i put him so i'm glad i got someone a little more proven in Sjax.

Jax is a nice upgrade but losing 2 starters to get 1 could prove to be challenging. I'm surprised you didn't try to go after someone else in this deal.

You could have kept Howard and your picks if you resigned Hughes. I'm pretty sure Hughes defense goes up at PG as well.

Sjax is not similar. Hughes only got 18 and 10. SJax has been getting me 25 and 10 consistently....

The season before Hughes averaged 24ppg 10apg 5rpg...Hughes is beasting with the sixers right now...He's one of the top guards in the game.. still love ya Okafor/Bosh/Gay/Howard/Hughes would have been nasty!! |
