Have tickets to see Hot Chip (with LCD Soundsystem) in July! Very pumped! At the moment I'm really liking Crystal Castles, Two Door Cinema Club, Passion Pit, Cold War Kids, Vampire Weekend, Empire of the Sun (Australian) and Cut Copy (Australian).
Have you heard of Cut Copy or Empire of the Sun? I'll post Youtubes to some of their tunes if you haven't, they are brill!

That sounds like an awesome concert. I've been getting more and more into Hot Chip. I love Ready for the Floor. Sound of Silver is also a great album so seeing LCD with them is going to be a great concert.
I saw Passion Pit live, they are terrible. I still listen to their studio stuff though. I definitely know Vampire Weekend, don't like their second album as much as their first, but they've gotten pretty big over here. Haven't really gotten into the Cold War Kids stuff but I've heard good things about them.
Bands that i suggest you get into if you are not are as follows: The National, The New Pornographers, The Avalanches, Broken Social Scene, Talking Heads, Modest Mouse(old school I know). I lost all my music when my car got broken into and my ipod got stolen, it sucks.

Scott, thanks for the suggestions. Not sure if you saw my question regarding Cut Copy and Empire of the Sun? And that sucks to hear about Passion Pit. I know that feeling though, an Australian electornic band called Miami Horror are INCREDIBLE but when they play live, they sound more like a rock band with the guitar and drums over powering the synth and the vocals can't be heard as well.
Martinez, saw Chemical Brothers play 2 and a half years ago, they were brilliant. Also saw Deadmau5 play earlier this year, thought he was average.
