We made this trade, because we have played better without Drexler, as sad as it is....with him out we went much better, his inside is nice but for some reason he isn't dominant like you would think, on occasion he has nice games but he turns the ball over so much it kills us. Reid will be our starting PF and Sherman is a good PG, with Ceballlos being nice as well. The three seconds are ok, and we get a first in 95.... (don't ask me why we play better without Drexler, but we went 6-3 with him coming off the bench or injured) not to mention if it doesn't work out all those contracts expire this year, giving us cap flexibility

I was expecting Drexler to cost several firsts.
Douglas is average, he can't play D so that takes away some of his value.
Reid isn't a great rebounder.

but this is still a horrible deal,Blazers should have got Jackson or Brandon. I really need to to find some deals.....

Look at our schedule....we had gone 1-8 in our last 9 games before day 26...in that day, I screwed up my DC and didn't bold that I had moved Drexler to starting SF.....and didn't bold that I had removed him from backup PG, meaning he was a 17 minute a game player as a backup PG for three games....in that sim we went 3 and 1 with wins over the Lakers, Knicks, then Drexler gets injured, and we end up splitting with the Supersonics, and beating the Nuggets, although we lost to the Timberwolves...... finally in the last game before Drexler returns we destroy the Bucks who are eighth in the Eastern Conference Playoff Race currently... Drexler then comes back and we go 2-2 with a loss to the Mavericks at home....the key appears to be that Benoit does much better, when he has an outside player helping him, and another scorer on the inside, hence what Reid fills, and we can start Gomelsky at SG.... and with Sherman at PG, that A handling is nice, and his defense isn't horrible, at a B, we should become more of a blanced scoring team..... and the First from the Nuggets wasn't amazing, but we do get three seconds from the deal, and hell, I'm first on the waiting list, what do i care anyway.....  |
