Grant Hill and he had 2 top 5 picks in the 96 draft(Iverson and Allen) he started out with a lot of assets...but overall Krup is probably one of the 5 best GM's ive been around in sim leagues. Yea I traded for one of those picks and the other was my own. I also added Theo Ratliff, Shawn Kemp, Vin Baker, Frankie King, and others. I did so much work. A young Grant Hill and Antonio McDyess were hardly the reason I became a champion. Also the last GM couldn't win with just those 2 either. w never could get it together in uosl. He was active as hell though. |

Also I made Ray Allen and AI into the players that they were with pumping them up with articles and such. To say I got "lucky" or inherited a team is bullshit. Other guys get players via draft and can't sustain winning seasons for longer than 4 years. I did it for 10+

Hill and McDyess were in the league for 2 seasons before I took over. The Bucks GM also had more picks but dealt them away right before I became GM and then I made my own trades to acquire the pick that netted me Ray Allen. |
