1. I didn't see Amare on a trade block so how would anyone know he's available or you're actively looking to shop him?
2. Since when does getting a few shitty offers mean that you have to take one of them? This isn't ebay
3. You were a much better GM when you were inactive and didn't make moves

By the way, had I known Amare woulda been available cheaply, I woulda given Wright before going out to get Emeka. Woulda given the same deal, and it seems to me like Trunks would have taken it.

Don't take bits and pieces of what I said. I said Amare was a bad investment for a team like the Timberwovles. Like I said he was unable to build around him and ultimately his time with him was wasted. I also said either he'd be impossible to deal or age so much he wouldn't net as much for him. I think he could have gotten more for him currently than he did but what I said came true. Get out of the 2nd round? I have 2 rings and I've been to the conference finals within last 2 seasons. I think my team is just fine. |
