lol Deebs was in a very bad situation, which while he did create that himself, he is a better GM than that, we need good GM's., he wants to stay, so I'll help, he doesnt want to quit...if you want to quit thats your choice

Talk about an idiotic overstatement. Brewer really isn't that good. If he were, people would have been jumping at the opportunity to offer a decent 1st. Broph has posted numerous times that he wanted a 1st for him and this thread proves that everyone was well aware of what Broph wanted. Seems pretty clear to me that no one was willing to offer that 1st or else he would have been long gone. So.. I swooped in with 2 seconds and nabbed him. You snooze you lose. At the end of the day I'm not sure why Broph has made it seem as if he were offered many 1sts but turned those offers down in order to help me out. Obviously Broph would like me to stay, but lets be rational here.. I don't get Brewer if someone else offers up a 1st. |

I never said anything about quitting nor am I PMing people about making pity deals with me because my team is bad. I created this poor situation myself out of frustration and wanting a change. Aar, Saga and TMacz didn't offer those deals to me. I worked out all of that thinking that although the deals weren't great at the time, maybe they would work out in the immediate future. Obviously I had a poor TC and things didn't work out so now I'm trying my best to not just give away top 3 picks over the next couple of years. I wouldn't have went out of my way to add a large contract like Amare Stoudemire if I weren't trying to stay in this league. I'm dealing like mad to acquire expiring contracts right now in order to better my team and you're saying I want to quit? You're an idiot plan and simple. Sure am glad Ashes is back. 1998: 43-39

The GMs here are really funny style. No one is willing to offer a 1st for a player but once that player is traded, suddenly he's worth a 1st and it's a rape deal. Rape deal for a 14 PPG player. Lol.
