nice for sixers, ehhhh for blazers, but TP is 33 and expiring, so I guess 2 firsts is ok..

This is a good trade for the Sixers, who have a really, really, REALLY good shot at coming out of the East if they can figure out a good DC to use.

Parker is easily a top 5 player in this league. For him to go for two 20+ picks and basically salary is ridiculous.
Broph, I also understand the time to deal Parker was now but Trav didn't show that direction when he first hopped on board. He dealt for Chandler and now he handcuffed himself to winning. He's abandoned ship. He just doesn't seem fit to lead this franchise. We need a more experienced GM here.
Obivously a great deal for the Sixers but lets face it this is a rape deal. I don't want to hear otherwise.

Lol... For a top 5 player no one was banging the door down for him. How is me wanting to win 10 sims ago relevant now? I've been trying yo tank the last 10 sims lol... I am aware this isn't good value but sadly it was the vest out there by far, tmac was the only one who even made an actual offer. I suppose I should have kept and overpaid him in fa, but I guess I'm too inexperienced.

I don't bounce back and forth between 10 sims. Sure I understand cutting your losses but dealing a top 5 player just "because" and giving the reasoning "well no one showed interest in him" Now don't get defensive and I'm just asking you but did you contact teams that you thought would be potentially interested in Parker or would benefit from having him and making them an offer? Or did you just create a trade block and field offers? I think there is a large difference between the two and many GMs don't identify that early on. I think creating a tradeblock is great to let people know you're open to the idea of trading someone but ultimately it comes down to the GM to seek the value they are looking for. |

Value for older players in this league is a PAIN to get. Sometimes you just might want to abandon ship and not bother with trying to trade them all the time.

Lol I'm not see sawing I have decoded to rebuild shortly after we were close to 10 games below .500 early on. Whoever I talked to about Tp was giving 2nd rate assets and the teams I had actual good deals with just faded away. Is this ideal value? Of course it isn't, but rather than win 35 games maybe my pick is closer to top and I gets fewassets in the process. I'm willing to bet you can count on one hand the teams that had the contracts, and wanted tp. I'm on my phone right now so excuse any typos.
