Seriously. This deal is horrawful. The most I would have given for him would've been one of my future 1st's, maybe along with a protected future first. Not to mention that his stats are majorly inflated because he is the lone good player on one of the worst teams in the league. Jordan freakin Price is getting 23ppg for pete's sake. Look what Millsap did when he was on a real team(Nets). Last 3 season were 14ppg, 12ppg, and 14ppg. Let's not forget that he is 30 years old and reaching the downslope of his career, is he really worth the contract? 591 Paul Millsap C 30 $13,083,263 $14,272,650 $15,462,038 $16,651,425 I don't care if those picks are gonna be bad or not. 4 picks for Millsap should never happen. Nets were an outside offense team....thats why his numbers were low. But the Mavs are an outside offense team as well tho....

Yup although he's trying to run a balanced offense, which I don't think will work well with shooters like Harris, Duhon, Durant, and even their PF(Jeff Green).
Millsap is good, but no way is he worth 4 picks. Two is the max I'd be willing to give him.

Yah he has to run an outside with those shooters....I can't really agree on the pick amount...I did give up 3 for Bassy lol. I'm glad Kobe is trying to win though...I love competition.

This is terrible for the Mavs. The Clipps couldn't net a first for Milsap and he goes over the top and offers 4. Especially when he had a choke hold on the Sonics franchise which could have netted him a superstar. After this deal where are the Mavs going? No where. Nah, no choke hold on me. The only thing possibly of value there was the 20 first. Still, he overpaid with 4 firsts. Whether you win 60 games or 10 he has a choke hold. He hold the cards that if you decide to rebuild it goes through him.

How is this deal officially done? Did the new GM come in and accept the trade albeit the fact that he should?

The clippers GM did not even post in this thread...why did this go through? Clippers accept. Although the picks for this draft won't be anything great, still bringing in young players. We are hoping the Sonic picks can become something nice, so that's the main reason we are rolling the dice on this one.
