honestly looking at the schedule, I see one game I am most nervous about
Washington and Arizona are at home...not at all worried about this team at home, USC, the team will have no issue getting up for, and having played at Tennessee already, though the quality of the team is different overall, the defenses arent quite amazing for either, we already faced the probable best defense we will face all season, and that was on the road at ASU this year. LaMike had a huge game last year against this team, and Monte's Cover 2 I just dont see as being effective against our run first offense. Our offensive line is coming off literally its best game ever...the amount of time Darron had to throw against UCLA was insane, and they have a solid D-Line. if you blitz, we can attack the bubble screen, hang back, and Thomas has been excellent at finding the right guy, he was checking his receivers very well last game. (and that pass where he threaded the ball over one guy, then between two DB's right to the receiver gave me chills, amazing throw) USC may score some, but I have no doubt we will score more.
Oregon State's D is scary bad, and we actually have a passing game, Reser isnt the toughest place to play, itll be loud yeah, and its a rivalry game, but, knowing that its the Civil War, and the potential huge implications, with a QB who can pass against a Pass D that is pretty damned bad, I have no nervous feelings, leaving...Cal, road game at a place where we have struggled to win, a team who is just good enough to possibly take a win against a flat team, their inconsistent, but could put together a nice game at just the right time. On the other hand, they do have Ludwig, so yeah, and Kevin Riley
