Congrats Prince! Great deal. I also thought you were bluffing for a bit, since Stevenson was really worth no more than a first whatsoever, but to get two Magic firsts? Great stuff. :applause: Stop stalking me.

I don't think you should really even be allowed to trade firsts that far away, for one it is risky as hell to begin with, and 2nd it handcuffs you or the potentially new GM. only a few GM's are good enough to really be able to deal firsts that far away and make a solid team out of nothing if need be.

Plenty of teams have already traded firsts that far out ahead or even further. Shaun is a reliable GM nonetheless.

realize though that the new GM would have a rebuild window, so it isnt that bad at all

realize though that the new GM would have a rebuild window, so it isnt that bad at all it isn't bad if he is getting a player who will be around more than 2 seasons lol.

Shaun is in his CY, he has to make deals, he has left the new GM with a rebuild window...Yes, Stevenson is not really worth two picks at all, but, he had to make a move, the picks wont hurt the new gm, who can tear down the team if Shaun doesnt make it, rebuild for three years, and then enter his CY....its not til the next year that that GM wouldnt have his pick...during a time when he should be winning

Listen, its just the facts. I’m the first to admit I have done a poor job recently, but in a CY I have to win. I don’t want to trade any upcoming 1st, so I can fully rebuild, and I don’t have any youth to deal. So what do you propose I do?
With Law-Deshawn-Deng-Smoove-Lee … im giving myself a good shot to get 40 wins, with no long term terrible contracts.
What else would you have me do?
