I am in a keeper league, h2h with normal cats. Here is my lineup currently, and the places where I need to fill it out: PG: Deron Williams SG: Manu G: SF: Pierce PF: David West F: Bosh C: Pau Gasol Util: Util: Util:
As you can see, I have a lot of flexibility with the 3 util positions. Here are some concerns I have: -lack of 3's -lack of assists -lack of steals -lack of blocks
I have two 3rd rounders so I figure I can get 2 solid players. I also have two 5ths. Here are some of the top guys available I was looking at: Hedo Jamal Crawford Salmons Scola Tyrus Thomas Dalembert Deng Nelson Brand Oden VC Landry Tony Parker Andre Miller Andris Biedrins Yao Okur Hibbert Morrow Maggette McGee Calderon Stuckey Robin Lopez Okafor Odom Conley Beno Batum Haywood Mike Miller Harrington JR Smith Hickson Beasley Diaw Wilson Chandler George Hill Marion Varejao Terrence Williams Gooden Ridnour Barbosa Thad. Young All rookie minus wall and turner.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Right now I am thinking of either Jamal Crawford (high 3ptm, solid %s), Salmons (more steals and blocks then craw, but less 3ptm and worse %s, also maggette might take some pt), jr smith (horrible %s but he can steal and shoot the 3), anothony morrow (might be the starter, 3ptm are nice).
For my other pick I was considering a pg (I feel I can get a blocker in the 4th or 5th). Jameer might be nice if he can stay healthy. Outside of him it is really only beno, andre miller, conley, calderon or jack.
Suggestions?

I'd go with either Beno or Miller. Miller's assist are going to go way up if Oden can stay healthy.
Udrih is one of the best shooters in the NBA and he can be a deadly PG if given the opportunity. Miller is probably the safe pick since Tyreke will prolly play PG.

Oden being healthy doesn't really play a big part in Miller's assists numbers imo.
take a look at Brand and Dally, I think Dally might do well in Sac town, also Hedo, his efficiency won't be great but in Phoenix he is going to be getting close to 20-5-5 for you, just on 40% or something.
why is Tony Parker still on the board? is he hurt?
try and get Hickson if you can, I think he is gonna get a lot of looks this year, maybe 15 ppg or some shit.

Most of Miller's assists come off of alley-oops. He led the league in alley-oops before coming to the blazers. Oden will definitely help out that aspect of his game.

TP saw his production drop some last season. Also with George Hill emerging people think that Hill will cut into Parker's minutes severely.

to be honest I like Hedo at your pick if he is still there, he is gonna put up a lot of shots this year.

Hedo's fg% is pretty bad though. I'm not sure if he is better than Jamal Crawford. Yes he will put up a ton of shots but will he really shoot a ton of 3's?

Don't take Hedo. Miller or Parker is where it's at.

Jamal shoots 45% Hedo will shoot like 42% this year probably, he will give you more of everything... not to mention Crawford's future is still up in the air. I would take a look at Dally too though, I remember reading some shit about the Kings wanting him to work on his offensive game so he can get buckets I guess, maybe a 12-10-2+ type of guy this year. Also maybe Brand is worth a look, new coach maybe his energy will be renewed who knows.

I would still take Tony Parker above them all though, if he gets dealt then his numbers will go up, even in San An he will be good for like 18-6 at least if he is healthy, you have to think.
