It was only a matter of time. We had 4 stores within a 5-7 mile radius of where I live and now we have 1, and I'm pretty sure they're closing soon too.

They should've expanded their online rental system and marketed it better.

I used to have blockbuster online. A good thing about that was you were able to take your dvds and trade them in for a video at the store and they would mail it for you.
Though it took a while for you to get a return on your dvd (like 3-4 days each way).

I think they have/had a game service, but it wasn't included in the normal online thing. The online thing was basically netflix but after netflix became popular and everyone used it. |

What's funny is that it seems blockbuster has bene playing catchup. First with the online thing and recently they have put in redbox-type kiosks in places (a publix has one). Same concept.

Blockbuster used to be amazing during middle school. Renting games for two weeks was great.
