The Bigs
This FA class of bigs has the potential to be deep as hell, there are tons of bigs who can make a big impact starting, whether it is on both ends of the floor, or just a defensive anchor, there could be tons of them.
Andre Drummond C 6'11'' 265 24 A- C- C- A- A- B
I think just about everyone with cap right now is crossing their fingers that Drummond tests FA. The kid can do it all, he sticks his FT's decently for a big, all A-'s, and will only be 25 by the time FA hits. But right now there is no real reason for him to leave LA, he is in a beauty town, they're winning games, and the team is pretty solid.
Derrick Favors PF 6'11'' 261 27 B+ D D A A C
Favors is another huge prize this FA, while not as young as Drummond, he is still a stud in his own right, and would be a huge pickup for any team whose CY is approaching.
Brook Lopez C 7'0'' 260 29 A- C- C- A- B+ C
Brook is currently on the Wizards dropping 22-12-3, studly numbers once again. As of now there is no indication Brook is looking to leave the team he has played for for 5 years now, and based on his numbers, you have to imagine the Bullets aren't going to cheap out on him.
Brian Bridgewater C 6'9'' 255 23 B C C A- B- B
Brian is still relatively unfinished as a professional player, however he will be a mere 24 at the time he is an FA. Teams with cap who miss out on the big names might be in the market for a big, and there is anyone that is going to get overpaid this FA, Bridgewater is as likely as any.
Amare Stoudemire PF 6'11'' 261 35 A- C C- A- A- D
Amare is one of the most seasoned players in the league, and at 35 years young he is still one of the most dominant bigs in the league, still putting up 19-11-2 a night. While Amare might not have his young legs, he could definitely help out a team looking to turn their losses into wins, on a short term contract, before he decides to hang it up.
Darko Milicic C 7'1'' 265 33 B+ C- C+ A+ A- C
Darko is arguably the best defensive player in the league right now, he is blocking almost 5 shots a game which is absolutely crazy, and he is grabbing over 12 boards. Darko can anchor a team defensively, and while there might be an expiry date on his career, he could definitely still help a bunch of teams out this year.
Brandan Wright C 6'11'' 214 30 A- C- D B B B
Wright is the definition of a late bloomer, he is putting up HUGE numbers right now, helping the Jazz get a solid record. Teams desperate to get wins could definitely look to pay this near seven footer, who decided to put up all-star numbers at absolutely the right time in his career, at 30, looking for one more big contract before retiring.
Roy Hibbert C 7'2'' 287 31 B- C- D- A- B+ C
Hibbert is another sick defensive big, and with the Pistons' cap situation you have to question whether or not they will have the resources to bring back both Hibbert and Darko, look for a team to swoop in and nab at least one of the two next FA.
Emeka Okafor C 6'10'' 256 35 B- C- C- A- A- F
Emeka continues the trend of defensive bigs, at 36 he could be useful for a team looking to win in the short term. Still a really solid big who can anchor a defense.
Paul Millsap C 6'7'' 261 33 B+ C- C- B A C
Millsap is dropping 19 and 11 right now, and at 33 he is desperately looking for one last pay day. He might not have the impact that the previously mentioned bigs do, but he can definitely help a team out, especially on the glass and offensively.
Greg Oden C 7'1'' 280 30 B- C- D A B C
Oden is much like Hibbert, just a rock solid defensive big man, and at only 30 years old he can definitely help a team out for a bunch more seasons.
Hasheem Thabeet C 7'3'' 282 31 B- D C- A B C
Rounding out the bigs, just another really solid rebounding and defensive big good for 2-3 blocks a night.
The Wings
While not as many as the bigs, there are tons of wings who can be solid 5th starters for teams and 6th men, while a few could even potentially be option scorers.
Tyreke Evans SG 6'6'' 230 29 B- A+ B A C+ D
Like Favors, Reke is the huge prize among the wing players. the 2016 MVP is likely to hit FA this year if he doesn't receive a huge deal from the Nets, at 30 Reke will be looking for a 6 year max. Just a pure stud and every team with cap is crossing their fingers he tests.
Gordon Hayward SF 6'8'' 220 28 B- A- C+ A- C+ C
Hayward is picking the perfect season to put up career numbers in Toronto. Not only is he helping them win basketball games, he is helping himself earn a big fat contract this off-season. If he doesn't get a big deal from Toronto, you can be assured he will get a big one in FA. He is just a prototype wing, good shooter, defender, and solid handle, this guy is definitely getting paid one way or another this off-season.
Michael Snear SG 6'4'' 185 29 B A- D- B C- C
Just like Hayward, this guy picked the perfect year to go off offensively. After putting up 20 a game last year, he has stepped up to 24 a game and become one of the most potent scorers in the league, at 30 years of age, you can be sure he is going to be looking for a long term deal, and teams with cap should definitely take a look at him.
Travis Outlaw SF 6'9'' 211 34 B+ A- C+ A- B- C
Outlaw is the Stoudemire of the wings, just a really sick vet who can still play with the best of them. He has awesome ratings, and while off to a slow start, will definitely get some interest this year in FA should he decide to stick around for another season. He can do it all, score, defend, rebound, good passer, would be sick for a team looking to take that next step and be a contender, or just make the playoffs.
Gary Harris SG 6'4'' 205 24 B- B+ C+ A- C B
Harris is still a bit of a project but he is dropping 17 a game in New Jersey this year while helping the Nets, potentially, make their CY. With some upgrades Harris could definitely be a really really good player in SLR, it'll be interesting to see how the Nets approach his contractual situation, and to see what sort of interest he garners, should he decide to test the market.
Jordan Price SG 6'6'' 215 23 A- C+ C B C+ C
Despite his poopy ratings, and lack of trade value around the league, Price continues to put together really solid seasons. Whether it is with the Hawks, or someone else with cap, Price can typically be penciled in for 18+ on solid percentages, which just about any team could use.
Dario Saric SF 6'8'' 215 24 B+ C+ A- B- C
Saric has pretty cool ratings, he is putting up huge numbers right now on that shitty Hornets teams, but the only question right now is, is he worth a max? It is hard to say no since he is dropping 26-7-4, but at the same time his ratings are still suspect as hell.
Monta Ellis SG 6'3'' 194 32 B B+ B- B C- D
Monta has been around the block, and while he isn't a 20 point player anymore, he could still definitely help out a middle of the pack team, just like he is doing in New York right now.
Dajuan Wagner SG 6'5'' 218 35 C+ A- A- C+ C- D
Wagner can still shoot the lights out, and is actually having the best scoring year so far since his days as an all-star, definitely could help out a lot of teams on a reasonable contract.
Lorenzo Brown SG 6'4'' 185 26 B B+ C B D C
Kind of slept on in my opinion, solid wing on Toronto with nice ratings, could be a solid 5th starter of 6th man for someone, still young as well.
Terrance Williams SF 6'6'' 220 31 B- B+ B- A- C C
Just a sick all around role player, could be an awesome 5th starter, or 6th man for any team looking to win, can play an abundance of positions for any team.
The Points
The points are pretty shitty this FA, Arenas is the only 'stud', if you want to call him that, and everyone else is pretty much just role players.
Gilbert Arenas PG 6'3'' 201 36 C+ A A A C- D
Arenas is sick, but it sucks Tmac is going to let him walk in FA rather than deal him now. Arenas has the potential to help a ton of teams, but coming on 37 years old teams are definitely going to be reluctant to invest in him.
Louis Williams PG 6'2'' 175 31 C+ B A- A- C D
Lou is a vet in the league, and while he does turn it quite a bit, he could be a solid fill in point guard for a lot of teams looking for an emergency starter.
Deron Williams PG 6'3'' 210 34 C A- A- C+ C- F
Deron is part of a trio of Celtic points who are all pretty solid, Deron is a bad defender, but his sick shot and handle allow him to still be a competent contributor in the league.
Russell Westbrook PG 6'3'' 190 30 B+ C A- A C-
Westbrook is a sick slasher, while his jumper is a major issue, and prevents him from being a really good player, but he is a lockdown defender at the point, and like the rest of the points here, could be a solid starter for a lot of teams.
Chris Paul PG 6'0'' 174 33 B- B- B A- C- D
CP3's days as a starter might be behind him, and at 34 he might not want the pressure of starting, but if needed he could definitely fill in for teams, and if not, he could back up the 1 and the 2 very efficiently.
Brandon Knight PG 6'3'' 185 27 C+ A- A- B- C- C
Good backup, puts up good assist numbers but his defense and lackluster scoring prevent him from being more of an impact player. Could be useful for a lot of teams at a reasonable price.
Brandon Jennings PG 6'1'' 174 29 B- B- A B- D+ C
Kind of slept on player in Orlando, he is dropping 13-8 right now, so he could probably be a fill in point for a team with a hole at the point guard slot right now, if not, like the others mentioned, he could be a pretty awesome bench player.
