Strengths:[/u] Talented with the ball in his hands, Johnson is a master ball-handler who makes smart decisions. He has a nice jump shot that can keep defenders honest. Defensively, he is an impressive man defender who will prevent his man from getting into the lane. He is very quick and a decent leaper.
Weaknesses:[/u] Needs to improve his consistency from beyond the 3P line. He doesn't create many turnovers and he'll be pushed around by larger guards.
Scout's Take:[/u] Johnson is a prototypical point guard. He isn't a superstar build, but he will be a very good starter in the league. Teams missing that efficient floor general would love to take a chance on Johnson who is a perfect mix of youth and sure-thing. He plays well beyond his years and should have a long career in the UOSLR.
