BTW, just so everyone knows, there was some mistaken thought that Manute does not have birds. He DOES, in fact, have 1 bird year, and two by the end of the year.

False. You can still offer him more cash than most. It works that way with MLEs too. Trust me on this. I can pull it up if y'all want to. You can offer 110% of what his current contract is, but not having 3 or more Birds means you are restricted in what you can offer him. Because hes such a proficient shot blocker Im quite sure he'll get MLE offers. |

If the team Bol is on this offseason is over the cap, the max they can offer is 120% of his 800k salary. Birds is considered 3 or more seasons - teams can go over the cap to resign a player with Birds.
