Strengths:[/u] Impressive outside stroke for a big man. Can help stretch floor while doing other things well for his team. A good defender and rebounder, especially on the offensive boards. Nice footwork for a guy his size. Can probably guard the 3-5 effectively.
Weaknesses:[/u] Not a great post presence offensively. Not a great shotblocker either, maybe good for 1 a game. Not going to find the open man out of a double team. Slightly turnover prone. Not athletically gifted.
Scout's Take:[/u] Thomas surprised scouts when he declared early for the 1994 Draft. While scouts don't think it hurt his stock any, it didn't help. Thomas should become a great utility player at the next level some day. Should go late lotto.
