Strengths:[/u] Excellent defender. Tenacious man defender with quick enough feet to stay with slower SFs. Strong enough to guard the biggest of PFs and Cs. Good shot-blocker. Very dynamic offensive game. Won't be a 20+ guy, but can score inside and outside very effectively, especially from beyond the arc. Will cause match-up problems. Solid rebounder. Weaknesses:[/u] Not a high IQ guy. Will turn the ball over several times a game. Needs to improve rebounding to be a big time PF. Tends to fall in love with his outside shot instead of taking it down low. Not going to impress anyone with his athleticism. Scout's Take:[/u] Teams are enamored with Sheed's game. His outside shooting and defense are desired, especially for his position. Could maybe make a few All Star Games and will probably land a few All-Defensive Teams. Should go in the top 5. Sheed with the Blazers and early years with the Pistons should have been the league's best player if he ever lived up to his potential.
