I'm probably going to let these owed first trades go through because of the clusterfuck of mess it would bring to just void everything.
Then I'll probably scrap owed firsts or severely ammend them. I don't see how we can have so many problems over a stupid concept to begin with. That's why I said don't put value into owed firsts at all.

While grammatically you are correct in your view of owed picks, you are taking advantage of a loophole that others have not yet done in UOSLR. These are the kind of moves that put you into the "shady" category. It is against the spirit of the whole gaming community and its lame. I guess the best part is you'll probably still suck. SO it works out in the end.

My '97 pick will be gold just like you predicted, I know this already.

Martinez is correct. This is why owed firsts MEAN ABSOLUTE SHIT. How many time have I said this? An owed first by 1998. The means a first round pick given to the other team by the year of 1998. So martinez had until 1998 to give a 1st Round Pick. now STFU peasants.

And this is the reason why I never trade for owed 1sts.

This will all be avoided very easily...The deal will have to be reworked due to cap anyway, so Trunks can stipulate that the owed pick will be a pick owed to him that will be in a draft by 1998. That way the pick will have to be a pick by 1998 overall, not just owed. (cause an owed pick in 1998 could still have the same loophole applied...he would just have to send him an owed pick in 1998) and Trunks has to agree to the reworked trade anyway

I'd rework the trade.. I mean he can just add in Jon Barry to make it work. I don't really care anymore about the owed picks, w/e it's my fault, and he took advantage of it. Good for him. I don't care. It just a lesson learned when dealing with people like him.
