Strengths:[/u] Good at using his size inside. Can get you 8-12 points a game. Good post defender with decent shot-blocking skills. Solid offensive rebounder. Very strong down low. Won't get pushed around too often.
Weaknesses:[/u] Can't shoot to save his life. Very poor free throw shooter. Not smart with the ball and can't pass out of double teams. Needs to improve his rebounding to be a starter at the next level. Pretty slow and not very athletic.
Scout's Take:[/u] Dampier thinks he's better than he really is. Some scouts say that's a good thing, but most don't. He'll be a very good defender in the league, but he needs to work on his rebounding if he ever hopes to be anything more than a good rotation guy. Should go late-lotto to mid-1st.
