Jazz accept. We get the elite player we were looking for in our run. Penny is an expiring, so is Smith, who could decline in TC. Outlaw wasn't a major piece to the team and is also an expiring. Cummings is an expiring that will be highly valued expiring in my attempt to make one more possible big move. Good dealing Magic.

Hold on Goose, didnt we agree that the 1st pick would be 20+ protected (for me) ? Both those guys are expiring; but both have birds, so im not overly concerned. This team was at a cross-roads; unfortunately we became a really good team at the same time the Hornets became an elite team. With Pippen 31 years old, and our team not really having the assets to move to become a contendor, I felt this was a prudent move. Hardaway is a mini-Pippen who is 10 years younger, and hopefully can evolve into the stud i think he can be. Outlaw is a solid bigman who should be in the rotation for many years. Smith at A- A- A- is still really really good. Those 2 1sts, especially the 2000 first should come when the Jazz best players are 34/35/36 ... so maybe they will be decent. I think its a fair deal, and decent value. + id rather deal him to the West  |

Magic kill it. They do give up Pippen but he is 31 and they get Penny and 2 firsts in return.

Not a good deal for the Jazz, they'll compete but they wont be better than the Rockets or Grizzlies.
