Accept. This was the best deal offered for Payton and I just felt it was more than enough. I need to clear up some problems involving my '98 first anyways. This gives me the youth I want and some potential. Hopefully my first deal ain't THAT bad.

The hardest part for me was the 2 blazers picks.
- sura hasnt done anything
- Joe smith was a bust
- best just had a pretty bad tc
- wallace i just wanted to rid myself of his contract
With payton and ratliff im creating a great defensive team

Like it for Portland, they give up practically none of their main pieces (except maybe Sura), and gain one of the better PGs in the league.

At first I was like wow, thats a lot that the Blazers had to give up. But overall, it shouldnt hurt them too much, and Payton is a really solid addition.

Like it for Portland, they give up practically none of their main pieces (except maybe Sura), and gain one of the better PGs in the league. Yeah, thats how i looked at it I kept Mercer, Ratliff, sixers 1st this year so i still have some sexy stuff to work with Quality >> Quantity |
