Strengths: Had a decent season at Iowa where he averaged 15 ppg. Former Michigan coach Steve Fisher said about Davis, “He’s very athletic.” He can dunk with ease and like s to show off his dunks in games. Weaknesses: He doesn’t have much of an offensive game outside of dunking. He doesn’t shoot percentages particularly well…and that is none of them. He is also turn over prone. He tends to try and do too much and try and take over for his team, which leads to him turning the ball over a lot. Scout's Take: Davis is very raw. It is going to take a lot for him to be a good player, but he is young and can do it. He is pretty crafty on defense and he can use his quickness to judge where the ball will be. He is a freak of nature and can fly around the court, dunking the ball left and right. He is very young (he will be 19 at the start of the season) so if he finds a solid coach, who knows how he could develop? Ratings: Ricky Davis SF 6'6'' 195 18 B- C C C+ C A
