 Strengths: Skip to My Lou. He is very fast and has great quickness. He didn’t get his nickname for nothing. The former street baller from Rucker Park has great handles and passing ability. He can drive to the rim and make baskets due to his quickness and ability to confuse defenses with his handling. He has precision passing and can spot a guy and thread the needle off his defenders leg to is teammate. He is also the best point guard in the world that you have never heard of according to SLAM Magazine. Weaknesses: He is a horrible rebounder. He is also more of a pure point guard, which has its own ups, but because of so he would rather dish the ball or make others look foolish that shoot the ball. He does have a tendency to get in trouble with the law so while he will work hard, he does have a tendency to screw up and isn’t the brightest bulb. Scout's Take: The real question is how well his game will transition to the pros from the streets. He doesn’t have much in terms of college experience since he played at a junior college and a community college before going to Fresno State. He did average 7.4 apg in his only season at Fresno State, however his 3.4 turnovers per game were bad, but that is mostly due to him trying to show off and not be fundamentally sound. If a coach can harness his talent and allow him to be himself but also provide some structure, he could be a good player. However that coach may not be out there. He also has some legal troubles so he could provide to be a distraction for other teammates. Ratings: Rafer Alston PG 6'2'' 171 21 C C+ B B+ D+ B |

Lou has B+ defense, the sim gods are being too nice.

He has great handles and speed, but not good passing, so I wouldn't say he is a pure PG. But hey he might be here I dunno.

I would have to disagree. Watching Rockets games voer the course of when Alston was on the sqaud, he did play solid defense. He was some quick hands.

Also I don't see how Rafer looks great at all. He looks like a solid starter to me.
