The buyout rules are simple:
1) Each team will receive one buyout.
2) You may use your buyout once every two or three seasons, depending on who you buyout.
3) You may buyout a player with up to three years remaining on his contract.
4) There is a maximum salary on the players eligible for buyout:
3 Years - $25 Mil
2 Years - $15 Mil
1 Year - $8 Mil
5) If you buyout a player with 3 Years left on his contract, you may not buyout another player until 3 Seasons have passed. If you buyout a player with 1 or 2 Years left on his contract, you may not buyout another player until 2 Seasons have passed.
