My guess is that the reason some ratings are higher than they are supposed to be is because the NBA had less teams back in 1990. I think it was only 27 teams and with FBB at 29 teams the file may have been edited to spread the talent around equally. Its based off of 1 year stats, so the ratings are skewed. Also defense grades are always higher in these files because they give high positional defense to those with lots of steals or blocks. gotcha, but with players that have lower ratings than they are supposed to...their potential is most likely higher |

B B or B+ B- is debatable. All ratings are debatable. 99.99% of things are debatable. B B or B+ B- is reasonably debatable  |

Amazingly overrated.. Almost half the league has A- or better defense. I think it might need a little toning down. Like 10 guys with A+? There aren't ten smashmouth defenders, maybe 5.
And the guy that said MJ needed another A+ is a retard.

I'd be happy to make some changes if you ask nicely.
And Spencer is right, the 1990 stats this file was based off of skewed some ratings pretty bad, especially defense and PGs. I went around editting as changing a lot of the ratings, there were plenty of stupid ones.
I'll fiddle with it later. Cheers.

Sir Charles looks a tad under rated. He was just entering his prime and didnt play his best basketball until a few more years. I'd give him at the minimum more than C potential.
