Makes sense for both. No point Miami holding onto Malone if they want to rebuild around Kobe and this way the start the rebuild off properly with their pick. Hornets get a steal on their side of things.

Still more to be had, even cheaper. I practically cannot give Sherm or Benoit away, and no one was offering for Pip or Malone at all.... and I'm having a ton of talks..

I'm not surprised you can't give Benoit away. He tried last season to try and trade him and couldn't. He makes a ton.
