Strengths:[/u] Very strong, versatile forward that can play the 3 and the 4. He is a good inside scorer who can finish strong at the rim. He has a solid jump shot, and can hit the 3 when needed. Strong defender and a very good rebounder. A good athlete for his size. Should give opposing defenses a tough time.
Weaknesses:[/u] Poor free throw shooter. Needs to improve on shooting consistency. Also needs to take better care of the ball. Though he can play the 4, he won't be a great post defender and won't be a shot-blocker.
Scout's Take:[/u] If you're looking for the face of your franchise, Owens is a hit or miss. He could have the potential to be great, or he'll end up a solid role-player at the next level. Either way, he should be worth taking the risk. Should go in the top 7 if chooses to declare for the draft.
