1. Atlanta Hawks - Carlos Boozer PF 6'9'' 260 19 B C C- C+ B- A
Hawks are pretty bad all around, so going with the best overall talent is probably the best choice here. Boozer will be the cornerstone of the Hawks franchise for a long time.
2. Atlanta Hawks - Tony Parker PG 6'2'' 177 19 B+ C C+ C+ D A
Wagner is very good, but it'd be hard to pass up on a PG like Tony Parker. Parker and Boozer will make an unbelievable tandem for Atlanta.
3. Toronto Raptors - Dajuan Wagner SG 6'3'' 200 18 B- B- C+ C+ C- A
Out goes Jordan, in comes...Wagner? Maybe not that good, but Wagner will be the SG of the future for Toronto. Toronto is just entering their rebuilding stages and they strike gold here.
4. Washington Bullets - Tyson Chandler PF 7'1'' 220 18 C+ C- C- B+ C+ A
Bullets already have Webber, but Chandler can either play C or replace Webber, since the Bullets have been actively shopping him. One of the best mixes of youth, athleticism, size, and defense in any UOSLR draft to date.
5. Detroit Pistons - Jason Richardson SG 6'6'' 220 20 B C+ C C+ C A
Time to finally move over Tony Dumas. Jason Richardson has the best overall talent left and Detroit would be unwise to pass on him.
6. Dallas Mavericks - Eddy Curry C 6'11'' 286 18 B+ C- D- C+ C B
With K-Mart and T-Mac already waiting, the Mavericks pick-up the strongest post presence in the draft. Though that presence may only be on the offensive side of the ball, the Mavs already have Chris Andersen for defense. Curry should come in and be a big factor for Dallas.
7. Milwaukee Bucks (via Kings) - Joe Johnson SF 6'8'' 225 20 C+ B C+ C C A
It seems really unfair for the Bucks to have yet another lotto pick, but they do. Their team is stacked, so this pick could go any number of ways, but I feel the Bucks take the most talented player left, which is Joe Johnson.
8. Miami Heat - Gerald Wallace SF 6'7'' 215 19 B- C C- B+ C A
This pick is a nice mix of upside, need, and talent. The Heat have some nice young pieces and could really use a young SF like Gerald Wallace.
9. Charlotte Hornets - Mo Williams PG 6'2'' 185 18 C B+ C+ C D+ A
It may be a bit of a reach, but the Hornets need help everywhere, and what better place to start than PG? The Hornets take the 2nd best PG in the draft and get a guy that may end up leading their team in scoring next year.
10. Phoenix Suns (via Nuggets) - Kwame Brown PF 6'11'' 240 19 C+ D+ D+ C+ B A
I think Phoenix takes the chance on Kwame. They are on the rise in the West after reaching the WCF, but their frontcourt all want large paydays they may not be willing or able to offer. Brown, should he pan out, would be an outstanding addition to the Suns.
11. New York Knicks - Samuel Dalembert C 6'11'' 232 20 C C- D- A- C+ B
It'd be really hard to pass up such great shot-blocking at this point in the draft. Knicks get a great pick-up late in the lottery with Dally.
12. Golden State Warriors - Eddie Griffin PF 6'9'' 220 18 C+ C+ C- B C+ B
I'm pretty sure aar takes a chance on Griffin here with the #12. Warriors have a solid young core and could use the versatile game of Griffin and his shot-blocking. He can play C/PF/SF.
13. Sacremento Kings (via Lakers) - Richard Jefferson SF 6'7'' 222 21 C+ C+ C B C A
Good thing for the Kings, they have the Lakers's late lotto. Kings need A LOT of help. They go with a guy who has the best value left in the draft. Jefferson should become a good starter for the Kings.
