One UOSLR great has been uneasy these past few years. A yearning to once again play the game that he loves continues to draw him closer and closer to a "comeback."
Yes, that's right. UOSLR great, Charles Barkley has announced that he plans on making a return to the league. In an interview, Barkley had this to say:
"Them fools in the league today are trbl. It's damn embarassing. I got to come back and show them how it's done!"
That's easier said than done, however. Barkley, who turned 38 this past month, will be the first UOSLR player to attempt a comeback after retirement. The hall of famer surely has his work cut-out for him. Scouts say Barkley is in good basketball shape, they're just not sure how he'll fair being removed from the league for three years. His skills haven't diminished, but his strength, athleticism, and conditioning surely have. It will be interesting nonetheless to see a team take a chance on Sir Charles.
"I just want to win another title," Barkley began, "I've already got like four of them and I'd love to add one more."
Barkley, who has two titles contrary to what he says, may still be able to help a title contender, so he won't even listen to offers from a team he doesn't think will have a shot at the playoffs. Needless to say, this will be a historic comeback for the once great Charles Barkley.
