04 first

Steve Smith
Torraye Braggs
David Benoit
George McLoud (just signed those last two as vet FAs)
Pistons trade:
Michael Finley
Tony Parker
I accept, and cringe at the fact that Finley tanked in TC and has a horrendous looking contract. At least it goes down and not up. I think Parker is worth it though. It's my CY in 2004, and with Wagner/Joe/TP, 3 of the top 5 picks int his past draft, along with Olowakandi hopefully re-signing, I believe I could be good going forward.

Getting two picks and Steve Smith and Johnson, who isn't too shabby of a player himself isn't a bad deal. Finley's bad contract would hurt me down the line if I need to resign players that hit free agency. Edit: I also agreed to this deal only if it keeps me under the hard cap. |

This trade would make more sense with Joe Johnson otherwise it looks like the Pistons are just bending over for no reason.

Ok, but I don't really care about that, I'm sure he wasn't just like, ok I'll accept this trade and talk about Joe Johnson to scam them into giving me Joe Johnson. It would appear he legitimately thought Joe Johnson was in the deal, otherwise he's just getting butt-raped on this deal.
